Introduction
As we enter our Ninth Year, Youth IGF India continues to create spaces and opportunities for young people to engage with issues at the intersection of technology, governance, and society.
The 2026-27 cycle brings together opportunities for learning, participation, collaboration, and contribution across the Internet governance ecosystem. Through forums, fellowships, capacity-building activities, and community initiatives, the programme seeks to strengthen youth participation and encourage diverse perspectives on India’s digital future.
Youth IGF India Annual Forum 2026
The Youth IGF India Annual Forum 2026, the 9th edition of the Annual Forum, will be held at IIT Bombay on 4 September 2026.
The Forum will bring together young people and stakeholders from government, academia, civil society, the technical community, industry, and other sectors to engage in discussions on Internet governance, digital policy, emerging technologies, and India’s evolving digital ecosystem.
It will provide participants with opportunities to exchange perspectives, engage with experts and peers, and contribute to conversations shaping the future of the Internet.
Fellowship 2026
The Youth IGF India Fellowship is a capacity-building programme for young people interested in Internet governance, technology policy, digital cooperation, and related areas.
The programme brings together young people from across India for expert-led sessions, mentorship, collaborative learning, discussions, and research-oriented activities.
Through the Fellowship, participants can deepen their understanding of Internet governance, engage with diverse perspectives, build connections with peers and experts, and contribute to the broader Internet governance community.
